While the CR-X is drying I'm mucking around with this.

I've also been shopping for wheels too :grinno:

Now I gotta make the bodykit, I'm gonna try and replicate the vertex ridge kit. (like the Garage T&E D1 car) :iceslolan

that is by far my favourite D1 car, even though i'm a stone-cold Nissan fan.
i would use the Weds TC-005's. not exactly what's on the real car, but still some SWEET wheels. :naughty:

Reckon the TC05s might look a bit small under the big Soarer body. Those Tommy Kaira wheels might look cool though.

The real Soarer has Volk Racing GT-C's. I don't think they make them in 1/24 scale.

A bit of styrene work lastnight, putty work is next.

Please note: I only want to make the vertex kit like the T&E car. I don't want to make a replica of the car as I can't get the wheels or the decals. :evillol: :evillol:

Are you a "newb" at typing too? Thats the longest run-on sentence I have ever seen! Lol. J/k. You can buy already made bodykits from Scale Auto Style which is run by FlyOnTheWall...a.k.a. Chris. Check out his site to see which kits you can buy.

It's a fujimi kit, the cool thing is, it came as an inch up with D style decals too!
Ummm, I'm only a novice modeler and I don't think I'm quite confident in trying resin moulds just yet. At the moment I am just trying to hone my skills.
But thanks for the awsome comment though. I'm very apreciative of all you guys positive comments.

Finally got 10 minutes at the office.
I've finished the interior. I had to dremel out the bottom of the factory seat as fujimi mould them into the interior, so a peice of styrene was added to give something for the race seat to mount on. The seat was out of my calsonic R32 and it had moulded harnesses.
I also used left over carpet from a GT3 porsche for the parcel tray.

Now for the body work.
After a whole packet of tamiya epoxy putty, I have this!

http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid85/p619b90548ef8bc9b924d6b33aa6a5b0d/fac5b3bb.jpg
There's still heaps of filing to do (with the bastard file of course) but it's comming to life.
As for the side skirts, I'm gonna use modified Altezza skirts.

I had an idea to put the TT motor from the AMT F&F supra motor in a tohgue AE8-6. And make it a drift machine, came up with that idea a while back, btw i was being sarcastic, i dont care if he puts a supra motor or not.

Where you planning to do some deep dish rims? IMO, the car looks wicked, but the rims need a dish in the back and half of what you do the back needs to be done for the front, that'd be sweet.
