Throwin somethin....

I went out to my car to find out if my ecu was throwin any codes, cuz my car doesnt have the bulb in for the check engine light. Anyways, I walk out there, not really knowing what to do, but having a somewhat decent idea. Well turns out I was wrong, my ecu got to 37 blinks before I gave up, I need help, the blinks didnt have any abnormal pauses in them, and I really have no idea what to do from here. How can I check it the right way?

What ecu do you have
