I just bought a Zex dry kit with the new amplified filter and I dont see as much HP change as I expected to get. I contacted Zex and they said it was prolly cause the temp was around 70 degrees, buy a bottle warmer and it should do the trick, is this true?
I have to buy a nos gauge, what PSI does the zex kit like to be?

I should get the bottle warmer any day now, I sure hope this works or I will be going to a 100 or 125 shot.

it works, it raises the pressure in the bottle so when you use it, you get a hi pressure shot of nos, i think ideal pressure is 1200psi, i think can't remember right now :banghead:

I know I waltzed into this thread late, so you've already got the warmer on. As you now obviously know, the bottle warmer made a big difference. How it works is if the bottle is the pressure in the bottle should be at X level. Too cold, and the pressure can drop to below optinum levels, resulting in less HP. The bottle warmer heats the bottle as needed, keeping the pressure at the optimum level. This results in more horsepower than a NOS system were the bottle is too cold, where the result would be less HP from the resulting pressure drop. After all. a bigger shot would have still produced less than the expected HP increase without a warmer, again, due to the pressure drop in the cold bottle.

Are you keeping an eye on the bottle pressure? Btw, what car is this on cause you just cant bump the shot up to 100 or 125 that easily, there is more to it.
