Well finally my number has come for the wrecking crew...but I think they only got half of it. Damn concrete walls jumping in front of.
Well was going to go to the State Fair today, didn't think they rides would really be up, but was going anyway. Getting off the highway and forgot the exit ramp i was taking turned into a sharp turn. Road was wet from the little bit of rain, so my brakes locked up on me, making me slide into the curb, which was just a slight angle going from the road to the grass, making me catch just enough air to make it so i couldn't get the car back under control and go into a concrete wall at 30 mph. Oh yea, I've become really used to how my car handles with just me in it and there was 3 extra people in it, so that screwed it up.
I think I handled it well enough, car just hit the wall once and bounced back straight. Kept all the visible damage toward the front drivers corner and bumper. No one was hurt...other than a cigeratte that went flying, which going by my passengers, thats an injury. Tomorrow im going up to my old school to see how much it will cost to put it up on the frame wreck and straightening it. My roommate is going to straightening out the fender for me and align everything back up once the frame is straight again.

yea there is a back seat...just mainly because i have to be a taxi
and NJ1989si i am just going to ignore your post.
I might be getting a 5th gen civic for free soon though. I don't know exactly what is wrong with it but the guy said it would probably take about $75 to get it running again. Depending on the shape of it I might get it. If not I'm going to go down to my dads and check out a 4g sitting down there and see if i can just buy it. If the body and everything is in better shape than this one, ill just take it.

A wall? You should've at least hit something exciting, like a fireworks factory, or a truck full of candy (or even bus full of midget clowns) just my http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/2cents.gif

See there is a problem with your opinion 2strokebloke. 1) Running into a fireworks display-possibly can cause more damage than the wall. 2) Running into a candy stand-waste of candy. 3) Bus full of midget clowns-waste of midgets, i could have them as my pets....i mean my friends, and dress them up funny and teach them how to shoot pull upside down while i hold them by their ankles.

Trick, if you can see these things coming before they hapen (Now that you know what I am talking about) turn the wheel into the direction you are hypdro plaining/sliding towards and dump the clutch as hard as possable, then as your accelerating spin the wheel away from the direction you are hydro plaining... If you are aproaching a wall at too great a speed and you know you wont be able to slow down in time (asuuming you can get traction and your not hydroplaning as described) get as much power to those wheels as possable (Yes I am saying speed up) and pull that little lever next to the shift knob... you know, the one that makes you go SKIRRRRRT. LOL, any way this has always worked for me when I have been sppeding and I've had quite a few close calls... Greg knows how I drive :iceslolan As for the hydroplaining advice I lived in the mountans for two years were it snowed pretty much constantly and my moms made me take this driving test before she let me use her car... I have used it a few times and it works great (Except for that one time I ended up hitting a 8 ft tall bank of snow...) Anyway it works good.

Well I think I could have got it back undercontrol, but that curb threw me off. Under the circumstances I think I pulled it off quite well, even with me coming out with some damage.
