I will be getting hold of a 1.6 16v soon, i have managed to get my hands on a 1990 ZC with 85,000 miles on the clock for $558.25 and it is the complete car, if the body work is beyond it then i will be breaking the car

how much for the taillamps w/ rear foglamp and wiring and switch for the rear foglamp? also is this RHD or LHD? if its LHD how much for the power windows switches?

i dunno about over there if the SiR is the same color code as the USDM Si...but i do know i really like the USDM black. it has a hint of red pearl in it. at least jer's does and it doesn't appear to have been repainted at anytime. the roof and hood are peeling

you really should know before you speak. they have done studies and it's not red but white colored cars which get pulled over.

maybe you should actually go look at a black 4th gen Si before you pass judgement. it looks like the 6th gen black is just black with no red pearl. the red in the 4th gen si is apparent when the paint is clean. i noticed it as soon as i started washing his si the first time

i guess all the people who say red gets pulled are wrong then ... ive never heard of anyone with a white car bitching about tickets ... you got any proof?

and i HAVE looked at a black 4th gen si ... 91hatch'es friend brought his to the last meet we had here in ca (nice participation by the ca 4th genners by the way, only me and gta came from this board :rolleyes: ) and i like the fbp better.

sure people in red cars get pulled over. white is a more common color. it is targeted easier. i have a friend who works for traffic school. i used to have a link to a study that was conducted. sorry but i trust a study conducted by dmv over a handful of people who have said they have been pulled over. have you taken the time to ask different color of cars if they have been pulled over or are you going off hear-say you heard on the net :uhoh:

whee. personally that black 4th gen from the meet was pretty faded.. they look good when the paints good. I dunno about red getting pulled either, i've only been pulled 3 times in 3 years, all because i did somethign and just didnt notice the cop. I do (care which colors and types get pulled over), since I ended up in jail over a ticket.
4-door cars get pulled over less. My car's bright red, and it might not fit the statistics, but I have been pulled over significantly less since I've been driving this car (and I drive like a fuckin' freak).
I haven't got a link to back this up, but I think white cars are the most likely to be involved in an accident.
Not crashing and not getting tickets are my main priorities; that's what keeps me driving, enjoying my car.
