lowering springs?

i want to lower my '00 beetle about 2.0" anyone have any recommendations on some good springs that will do this?

I would strongly suggest you do NOT lower yr car 2 inches, It will bottom and you will tear up the the bottom. We lowered our Passat .750 inches, and put 17 inche tires and rims on it and it looks bitchen! It would still bottom out too easily until we put the Bilstein shocks on it and now it doesn't bottom at all and handles Awesome. I can't tell you enough how cool Neuspeed is to do business with. The 3/4 inche lowering springs are the best IMO...

i just put sprints on my beetle, its advertised as 2 inch but its not quite that big, anyway my car rides nice and it doesnt bottom out at all

Hey;

I have been wanting to get some springs for my Golf but also have been very concerned with a large drop .. I can't afford to be breaking oil pans / front lips, and the roads here are terrible.

Any chance you have any pics of your car with the drop? I would only have 14s or 15s on my car but want to kill the monster wheel gap and make it look a bit better, without hurting my car.

How much did the springs + shocks run you?
