one of my friends got a vtec controller and set engagement at 2500rpm. he thought that since vtec mainly lets in more air while engaged it couldnt hurt the engine.
well i told this guy at work and he was like "dumbass, thats hella bad for his engine" then said "i have a 3 stage system, my first cam, then my second cam and it rips the shit then my vtec"
does low rpm vtec engagement hurt your engine?
the guy i told has a 95 civic si with a jdm b16a2 sir motor that redlines at 8500rpm and he said his vtec engages at 6500rpm.. which seems high because GS-Rs engage at 5400 right?
