I am wondering if there were any cars that came equipped with 15" steel wheels in a 4x100 stud pattern.
Something from Honda or VW or Mazda perhaps?
They need to be the kind of wheel that would normally have a cover over the top and is capable of being widened.

1980-1990 Ford Escorts are all 4x100mm. However, as far as I know, 15" steel wheels were not available at any time during the run. However, you can usually find the alloy 15x5.5 rims from the GTs fairly cheap - I've gotten sets from the junkyard for $50. Another idea might be to get a winter wheel and tire package from TireRack.com, they probably have 15" steels in a 4x100.

Did you try to call tireRack OR Discount Tires to check if they carry them?

hey! only 1991+ escort rims are 4X100, 80-90 are 4X108. But it wouldn't matter because the only 15s on escorts are aluminum.
