First off CONGRATULATIONS on your acceptances! I'm now in my 4th year of college(still ranked a junior unfortunately). My first 2 years I went to Blinn College(junior college) and I'm now in my second year at Sam Houston State University. I'm ready to get done, but I've got a year or maybe year and semester left.

Well my first two years where at columbia junior college in sonora califronia, i think the web address is gocolumbia.edu or org, i was going to get an AA my first year than my secound i started on my AS in Auto, than i moved to arcata now im going to college of the red woods im continueing my AS in Auto, but i might change it to a AS in Big rigd or construction untill i can find a good college like columbia with an automotive degree, I almost went to UTI but there L.A campus was full and i did not have the cash to go to arizona, but maybe i will save my money and move l8er on. After this Year Or next i might go to humbolt state here in california and get my BS in radio brodcasting. my advice for anyone looking for a college would be find out what you want todo with your life before you go to a state or private college, untill than stay in a junior college. than when you want to know what you want todo get on the net and find a very good college that has what you want and go there and see if its good for you and than go if you got the cash flow to do it and good luck

Hogie: while you're in boston, if you happen to meet a flirty tallish short haired blonde girl with a thin waist....STAY AWAY!! :evillol:

What was your field of study, and what do you do now? If you dont mind me asking of course.

My bachelors is in Computer Science and my masters was Mathematics. I’m a Senior Software Engineer and I work at www.emphasysworld.com (The site needs to be updated at some point, but since our exposure is through trade shows and HUD conferences, its not something that needs to be done.)

right now i go to UWP(University of Wisconsin-Platteville) and i am a major in graphic design. but sadly to say that after this semester i am leaving and going to the local technical college back home, for auto mechanics and repair. It was a big decision to do, but i will be happier that way

Leaving for college next year. I'm still narrowing down my choices and applying. Wish me luck  .
Going into engineering; either mechanical or aeronautical. Colleges I'm looking at are:
1. University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign)
2. Purdue
3. Saint Louis University
4. University of Missouri
Then they get a little farther out there....
5. University of Florida
6. University or Arizona
7. North Carolina
Oh, and MIT. :grinno: Haha ya right. A 3.8 GPA, 30 on my ACT and top 17%-25% of my class won't get me in there.

u ever consider MSOE? or that might be out of your price range, but that is one of the best engineering schools, and it isnt to far for you

Hmmm ya, good point. Don't know that it's out of the price range (alot depends on what kind of financial aid, scholarships, blah blah I get). Gonna have to look into it.
