indeed...its a great car to start with, an MOST ppl don't even realize that ur car is going to smoke them until ur gone. u'll take most of the civics and other honda breeds out there w/ little modifications as well as surprise some of the american cars by keeping up or even beating them.
its an awesome first car, go for it.

the classic SE-R came with a SR20DE. the motor is very very robust, and is a motor that can rev, and has good torque. you put that motor in a 2200 lb car, with a limited slip differential that it came with stock, you can take out most stock twin cam v-tec cars. such as the civic Si, and should be around the same as a stock GS-R if not faster as well. that car may look like nothing but its a monster.
