first i would learn to drive a manual. then i would read read read! and do what i would want to do. :2cents:

I had a standard as my first car and it is really easy to learn, you will probably regret it if you dont get a manual.

Standard - first car. No one knows how to do it until they do it.. Its just like reading and pretty much anything else. You have to learn how to do things before you can just do them, and the only way to learn is to just do it. Think about how many people drive standard and love it. If it was hard, do you think people would like it?
