I did the mpfi swap on my car last month and it has been running great every since. I drove back to school for a half hour and it was running fine. On the way back to blockbuster it felt funny when I was giving it gas. It is fine up to 3,000, then if I'm at half throttle it kinda bogs down a little, it goes but not as fast as it should. When I am giving it full throttle it just completely bogs down and doesnt go anywhere. Could this be a fuel problem? Oh ya, it had been raining, but only a little bit. I have driven in rain wiht it before and the whole way up when it was running well. When I did the swap I soldered and used electrical tape on the wires, and I was thinking maybe some water could have gotten in there. I checked the wires quick and everything looked fine and nothing seemed wet, its hardly even raining out. I'm probably gonna take off the tape and make sure they are all still connected completely.
Anybody have any idea what my problem is?

you arent getting enough fuel. how old is the fuel filter? also, think about checking the fuel pump, it could be pumping enough for idle and half throttle, but not enough for full throttle. i would check all of that.

I was thinking it was a fuel problem.
I have no idea how old the fuel fitler is, I bought it 3 years, 40,000 miles ago.
I put in injector cleaner when I did the mpfi swap and I was thinking about sending them out this summer to be cleaned.
But I did drive my car after it was running crappy about 8 hours later for about a half hour and it ran fine the whole time.
