I have actually looked for this and found that the stock RSX-S has something like this...

0-60: 6.1 - 6.5
1/4 mile: low-mid 15's

..but what would a RSX-S with the following run?
-greddy evo catback exhaust
-aem v2 intake
-headers (not sure what kind)
-hondata

..just so i can get a good idea of what to expect after doing these mods
Thanks

could take off a few tenths of a second on the 1/4 mile and could add mabye 10-20 hp

all of that stuff would add more than 10-20hp wouldnt it? I mean, isn't the intake alone supposed to add ~20hp???

Also.. does anyone have an estimate on 0-60 time?

yeah, i think the aem intake is supposed to add around 17 hp and the exhaust would add 10+ too so from those stuff u might get like almost 30-40 hp. the rsx-s engine has so much power waiting to be unleashed

I remember reading a comparo of intakes and im pretty sure tested on a RSX-S and the injen and AEM CAI gave the best results at around 17HP. and I assume they dynoed it and that would be at the wheels too, unless they did csome math and estimated the gained flywheel HP.

lol get 20 hp from in intake? more like 15 with intake exhaust and headers more likely...

in most cases, yes but i have read countless times that the k series respond VERY well to bolt ons.

A RSX-S is supposed to run 14.7 - 15.3 stock

with those mods, you can def run 14's EASY
whoever said all that would add 10 hp is very uneducated.
go read a book

well, to put it in perspective, a guy who's a lousy driver ran a 14.3 w/ only hondata/intake/axel back exhaust.

the rsx is so simple to modify...makes one envious really...

Check over at ClubRSX.com. There they have dyno numbers and 1/4 mile times. I've seen postings of anywhere from 13.8 to 14.4 with....
CAI
Hondata
header
exhaust and so on......

My setup is the Comptech Race header, Apexi N1, and AEM CAI and I beat my boys S2000 3 days ago from a roll. He's got AEM CAI and he ran a 14.0, so I have no idea of where I'm at. I'm not going to the track until though until I get better at launching. Bout to go dyno this bad boy tomorrow. Good luck to you though man.

How much difference mods will make with times/HP depends on how the car is tuned (and the driver obviously).

You can't just add up published HP gains with each mod to give you a total, because some mods will produce more gains when coupled with other mods. Even with a stock engine, you might be able to get a bit more HP from a mod if a few engine settings are changed to compliment it.

And it always helps clarify if you're talking about flywheel horsepower and HP to the wheels. Published claims of "Adds 10 horsepower to stock engine" may in fact translate to gains of 2 or 3 horsepower to the wheels.
