Person 1: Coca-Cola is the only Cola.
Person 2: Pepsi is also a cola.
Person 1: No, Pepsi isn't a cola, only coke is a cola.
Person 2: Of course Pepsi is a cola, why do you think it's called pepsi-cola?
Person 1: It isn't called pepsi-cola, it doesn't say "pepsi-cola" in big letters on the can like Coca-Cola does.
Person 2: Coke isn't the only Cola, Pepsi is also a cola.
Person 1: No, only Coca-Cola is a cola, why don't you show me some video evidence of Pepsi being a Cola?
Person 3: Although I have no thoughts to back up my opinion, I'm going to agree with Person 1, Pepsi isn't a Cola.
Person 2: If you're so smart, why isn't Pepsi a cola?
Person 1: because Coca-Cola is the only cola - period. Show me a video of pepsi being a cola.
Person 2: Why don't you just drink some pepsi and see for yourself?
Person 1: All these Cola bandwagon jumpers, can't they see they need a real cola?
Person 3: yeah like really - I still have no evidence to back up my claims.
Person 1: Ughhh.
Those ignorant Coke folks, will they ever learn? http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/grinno.gif

And all those other people who present no logical argument, they probably drive the automotive equivalents of Fresca.
On a side note though, we finnally have a thread with Cola advertisements over it.

You need to get one of those wide mouth cans. They increase the fuel consumption, but you get a much quicker response when you hold it up to your mouth.

Replace coke with RWD,and Pepsi with FWD,now subsitute cola with drifting. You know have an argument, sort of subliminal..haha.
I really don't enjoy "Coke" or "Pepsi",but the companys other products such as Sprite and 7-Up.But I hardly drink that,I usually take Gatorade over them, and water over Gatorade. But if I were to choose Pepsi or Coke,I would choose Pepsi. Not like it is an issue,I hardly drink any soft drinks to begin with.

The debate rages on.
I've done sensory tests with soft drinks and most folk have trouble distinguishing between the two. In fact, there are some sworn drinkers of brand X who prefer brand Y in taste in double blind testing.
But that's the power of branding. A bit like bottled water - ten years ago you couldn't have given bottled water away and now they stick tap water from Putaruru (admittedly one of the most pure sources of water around) and charge three bucks for it. Why? Marketing...
Now then's the story about the Vodka and Gin from New Zealand... but that's another story altogether...

i think make pepsi be RWD and coke be FWD since coke makes my teeth grind together as if they were rough. and e-braking is rough, and only FWD does that.
(but if you are talking about the 2 drinks)
damn, they are two colas, two major competitiors. look at discovery channel, they even have a documentary titled "Pepsi vs Coke, Battle of the Giants"
oh shit, i realised now that iv replied to a dead thread. sorry.
