96 sunfire... Ok well whenever i turn a corner either left or right i get a large banging sound that can be heard both inside and outside the car. I have no idea what this sound is can anyone possibly inform me on it. Thanks

It sounds like you need to replace a tie rod. I just had to change mine, and it was doing the same thing. About $35 and 20 minutes...The fast way to check is to firmly grab the tire in the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock position and wiggle. If you feel the slack and hear the clunk, it's a tie rod.

Check the strut bearings. Put the front of the car up with both wheels off the ground. Grab the tire and turn it left and right. You will probably be able to see the spring "jump" on the strut as you rotate.
