Starting problem

My car sometimes has trouble starting, where it just won't start. Have narrowed it down to not being the starter, and the battery still gives out power. I'm pretty sure its the battery wires because when this happens, I just sort of move the wires, not at the connection, but like the middle of the wire, and it starts. It usually happens after the engine is a little hot. Any ideas?

Does this happen to all climates or just when it is cold? Auto or Manu?

Usually happens when its warm out, but has happened in the morning when it was cold - it actually died on me while I was driving it, turning. Its an Auto.
