There were a bunch of threads a while ago about why isn't Tamiya pumping out a ton of kits. And agreed, wishing they would come out with this model or that model.
Then I bought an Enzo.
Then I bought the Williams F1.
That's what they have been doing. Making some friggin' awesome kits!! Not many, but man, they blow away anything I've seen them make before.
I wouldn't mind slow development if it meant kits of this caliber, and no more of these WRX, 350Z simplified peices of trash.
Weeee! Fun kits.

That's what I'm hoping, high quality kit that is. If they make the Carrera GT and Mercedes SLR with Enzo & FW24 quality, I don't need anything else in 2004. (and Fujimi has produced many kits, that need time and work in 2003 anyway.)
