Very nice. I love the designs that you use in your drawings. You mix all the best designs into one, and it just makes one kick ass car.

My design critique constructive criticism. (keep in mind I suck in drawing and desgning):
What is the rear vent for, if the car has a huge hood in the front with a low profile roof? The headlights look very GM, with a twist of Italian details such as the strange grill and openings. The right side mirror sticks out kinda much, or the left is just big.

Good drawing overall!

Thanks for your reply! , The rear vent? , I don't know why i put it there  , If you look at the headlights of all other cars , they look all the same to me, so every headlight I design looks like an other headlight. The right side is wrong, it should be shorter, big mistake :banghead: . I made this drawing at school , during borig courses :evillol:, I didnt use any reference material to draw this car. I want to see some ohter AF members to draw a car by heart instead of just copying existing material. :smokin: . I think its much more fun to design a new car! So If you read this , try it! You can put all your desings here in this thread! Good Luck!

Alright hten, I'll think of something to put up in the next few days. It iwll be in watercolour, so be careful ;). No worries though.

And for the brakes, yes they need to be heated, when your running a track, braking every few turns from 100-40, they get pretty damn hot, like glowing red hot.

Nice!, I cant wait to see your drawing in watercolor , it sounds very nice to me. If you all put the self-made designs here on this thread , ill try to correct it, and give some tips to the drawings. But keep in mind that im also an amature designer, Im not perfect, only trying to spread my knowledge on drawing cars. "practice makes perfect" :p

You are a designer? Who do you work for? Where did you get education? If you ar ereally into design work, go to the forums section of www.cardesignnews.com . Good stuff going on there. I don't have any serious design stuff up on my computer, just sketches and whatnot. But I will get invovled with serious designing soon. I always have, but I have to make my portfolio if I want a scholarship.

I agree!!! I take my car out for the weekend down Highway 49. If you live in central California, you know what I'm talking about... It's a multilevel highway that twists through the El Dorado Hills and it also runs bellow the bridge where they filmed xXx movie from which Vin Diesel flew off in that red Corvette). I take this highway fast, incredibly fast, but because of twists and turns I end up braking in and thrusting out of every turn continuously. One evening after about 45 minutes I felt my brakes go "null" and berrely responsive, I thought I cracked my brake pads and was braking with calipers, I was wrong, I overheated my rotors. This happend only once, but it's something you dont want to happen. So, cooling down brakes is important. I have since then installed air ducts to direct air into the brake assembly. I take Highway 1 down Pacific coastline more often though, but the temperature there is much cooler, thus this has never happend there even though I take that highway much more agressively.

Sorry, mates, didnt realize I just jotted down a whole story.

Great design man, I can always tell your work when I see it, Quo. Very motivating.

Here is a sketch of how to draw a car in perspective. If you have any questions, ask me, ill try to answer. Normally its not very difficult to draw it using this sheet . The only thing you have to do is to be creative and show me some original designs!. :smokin:

Number one is the first line you have to draw , number 2 the second etc... . if there are 2 same numbers , connect them.
