Killed an 03 SI

well, im jus cruising down airport road with a buddy in my car when i see a new si lowered with exhaust (sounded like an intake as well) come hauling up next to me.
he had a person in front of him, so he got behind me and we stop at a light. i hear him rev a little, so off the line i punch it. he falls back about 1/4 of a car after 1st gear and i had a full car on him after 2nd gear (approx, was tough to tell w/ him in my rear-view)
i shut down and drive normal until we catch a light lined up next to eachother. he revs, i look over and its some guy w/ his backwards hat rollin like he's the shit in his new car. he sorta smirks over at me and revs a couple more times. i rev back, an wait for green.
on the launch, i took him 1/4 of a car again, and pulled a car on him in 2nd, and put another 1/2 car in 3rd when i shut down. he didn't really seem quite so cocky after that because he would never come up beside me... :biggrin:

nice kill, thats weird everyone around here with a new si seems to be cocky as well
some kid at a stoplight told me he had a standalone and then peeled away i didnt catch it at 1st but he just had exhaust what the hell would he need a stand alone for? anyways nice kill!

well...since that exhaust was so "highly tuned" as seen in the magazines, the rest of his motor needs to be too.
i dunno wut it is, but the few new si's i've ran into that were driven by young kids all had cocky little mofo's in em'.
