Fight? It's enough for MS to finish in 8th whatever Kimi does. Don't think there'll be much of a fight.

It shouldn't even be this close, MS has 6 wins to JPM's 2 and KR's 1.

The point system needs to be adjusted! :banghead:

Kimi has done an amazing job this year, most impressive. :iceslolan

What a crazy race, just what F1 needed as an advertisment in America, don't you think?

Only big bummer being the so called penalty upon JeanPol... But hey, it's the race...
I for one, am very glad to have been a witness of it all.

In 2000 the c'ship was decided at this race, and almost clinched this year. I think it's a mistake for this race to be moved to June next year, Sept. is a good window for excitement.

Yeah, now they just need to show the race on a public channel :disappoin

Don't tell me that they didn't even show the US GP live?

They show it live but it's only on Speed Channel which is cable.

We have cable, but in this area Speed is not a standard channel, it would cost us $40 more a month just to get Speed and a ton of channels I don't want.

I see. Guess I'm spoilt for choice then :) I can watch it on an Estonian, Finnish, or German channel. Helpful, most of the time, when they show commercials on one of the channels. Interestingly, very often the ads are shown at exactly the same time on the 3 channels, though :( At least RTL have them in the "split-screen" formate, when there's a little screen in the corner showing the action, or lack of, on the track even when the ads are running

My thoughts on this race:

I need to stay awake longer and not get up 2 and a half hours before the coverage starts.

Montoya can go take a flying leap. Who does he think he is? Michael in 97?

Good win. I am pleased.

Forza Ferrari.

i have to wake up at around 6 in the morning on sundays just to catch all the f1 races that are in europe, thank god for montreal and us gp :D

well my 2 cents, i wished montoya and kimi finished all within contention to make suzuka worth watching. the possibility of kimi snagging the title away from schumacher is like zero to none (im a kimi fan btw) and thus makes waking up to watch suzuka debatable. ahh well good season, its nice to see alonso working his way up fast ! hell i remember when he was driving for minardi and no one was saying a peep about this guy :D gg

What a race!!! What a race!!!
If he win in two weeks, Schumarer will really deserve his sixth title. He really went to pick it up on the track, taking 2s of the rest while catching Button (who would have deserved better, like Panis). Really good race from Raikonen which keep the championship a tiny little puny bit alive. Shame for Montoya, it would have been nice to still have him as a contender.
