Mods for 1997 Cobra

Just wondering what some inexpensive, safe, and practical mods would be to sup up my Cobra a bit. I am mechanically inclined and can handle most things with instruction. I don't want to do anything that will screw up the engine like a chip change, I just want to do little things here and there to beef it up a bit. The only thing I have done so far is add a K & N air filter....Any advice..???

Gears, Gears, Gears.... Especially with the Rev-happy 4V cause you can get away with 4.10's on a street driven one.

Gears=3.73's or even 4.10's
Pulley's=Power and amp series
Exhaust=Longtubes, o/r x-pipe, good free flowing mufflers. Dynomax or MAC
Supercharger=Paxton or Vortec

These are just my preferences what I would do with your car. Other people will have different answers.

A Tuner isin't a bad idea if your looking to adjust timing and other things. You can get another 20-25 horse from it. Your engine is capable of making more power, I was looking into the Sniper Special Forced Tuner since there isint alot of options with our year mustangs. Gears are the biggest difference for the money.
