Clutch problems?

I think my clutch is going, when I accelerate my car revs as though it is in neutral for a split second, it almost redlines before any power is transfered. Is this problem clutch related? When I was learning to drive the car I got the burning smell a couple of times, would a stage 2, or 3 clutch help me for the future?

Get a stage 3 ACT clutch, but be careful, it will put more wear and tear on your tranny. You need to stop slipping the clutch so much, or you will burn up any clutch you put it... :(

unless you live in an area where the closest neighbor lives about 30 minutes away, get the stage 2. why? well, it's going to be much easier on you and your car if you got the stage 2.
stage 3 is mainly for race and well...if you're into that kinda thing(:) ), then go for it.

I have heard that with a y-pipe, exhaust and intake, you can bark 3rd :smoker2: with the ACT stage 1 and it won't hurt your tranny at all, because its an organic disc or something
