Sunbird transmission.

I have a 1993 sunbird convertible 2.0l 3sp automatic, has anyone had problems with theirs not upshifting and downshifting like it should...I ran a computer scanner and got the shift solenoid....oh and can anyone lead me to a website of sunbird owners???
