anyone else got 'em?

i'm absolutely DYING right now because of them. just the seasonal ones, but my nose is running and i have the constant urge to sneeze, which i'm trying to sustain because i know if i sneeze once, i'll sneeze 100 times and it'll get alot worse. it's so bad that i'm not even breathing through my nose, because every sniffle or breath in causes another urge to sneeze. i'm almost at the point where sawing off my nose would be an option...

i also have allergies to dust, pine trees, and most long-haired animals, although the last one has gone down signifigantly in recent years. before, i could barely spend an hour in a house with a cat before i was wheezing and sneezing. now, i can stay in a cat house over-night and barely have any problems. oh, and both of my dogs are hypo-allergenic. they barely shed.

so, anyone else in a living hell every spring and fall?

i only start sneezing my brains out when i clean out my room after it becomes dusty from the air ducts all winter...i gets really horrible and for periods on end i'll have to get out of the house and them i'm fine...but then it's back to sneezing again when i resume dusting

Always had allergies to dust, pet dandard, mold, pollen. I get asthmatic too. Hay fever too. For some really good allergy suppressors, try Alavert. it seriously works.

Im allergic to sulfer which really sucks, because at school the chemistry students are always working with it and it makes my eyes water like a Mo-Fo.

dont you watch TV

Side effects with Allegra-D were similar to Allegra alone and may include headache, insomnia, unintentional pregnancy, nausea, cold, backache, menstrual pain, accidental injury, drowsiness dizziness or death.

Or death? WTF? Like I really want to take that stuff now.

actually, Allegra is the stuff i usually use. most of the time, it works, but last night i took one and it did shit-all.

i think it's mostly hay-fever right now, although i DID spend about 8 hours in my friend's house with cats last night...

i technically "have" asthma too, but it's 95% gone. i haven't had any symptoms of it in a couple of years, can run with ease now without the affects of it, and i haven't had an up-to-date puffer since 1995. :p

My wife has allergies and Allegra really helps her out. She doesn't get side effects from that but she'll get it from other ones - thats why she sticks with Allegra

yeah i don't think i've ever had side effects either. Allegra is about the only antihistamine i've taken (since i was of age. the box says you have to be 12 or over to use it or something like that), and it's worked great for me. when at the cottage one time, i was forced to go to the local convenience store to buy some antihistamines and bought Benadryl for the store's lack of Allegra. it made me quite drowsy...

Nope, I'm a lucky one. I used to have allergies when I lived in Ontario, but ever since I moved to the west coast I have been fine. Must be the GTA air.

No, but my g/f has allergies for the fall...she's found a way to calm them down though.

So, back to normal business.... :smokin:
