Good Sorce of Front Clips

ok i've gotten some more info from hybred there gona do my work i guess since i can't think of a better way. 1500 labor + engine costs, he said i needa front clip with everything intact an uncut harness and radiator and intercooler,

wow, i mean the ca18 is smaller than the sr20 but rev's higher i dunno whats realy better or how to compare them, but i like the ca for the rev's and for the fact its diffrent. less aftermarket support but all basic mods witch i was polaining on doing can be done by any custom shop FMIC's bigger radiaotors boost controlers turbo timers 3 inch exaust bigger fuel system, just not as popular as the sr i guess, let me know what you think i mean i only got about 5g's and if i can save 1000 then that leave me with some mod money :smokin:

but i dunno whats realy best i've read some sites that say the ca18 is way more reliable than the sr20. but i've herd alota people laugh in my face when i say that too. unstable hybreds seems to think the ca18 is a better engine claims they had more sucess with them. just my :2cents:

no itz a ok motor but i rather have the extra .2l and get a sr20det.. or just stick witht he ka24de and make it turbo for the same price..

don't knock off CA's. if super big power isn't what you're going for, then CA's are a GREAT engine. tunable up to around 350-400hp, and they cost ALOT less then SR's. although, being older could raise issues...usually not though.

i recommend Neishlin out of the 3. i mean, i would NEVER trust a company called "street imports". probably a rice company jumping the bandwagon to make some cash. might be selling crap engines as well.

and i've heard many bad things about flashoptions.

Neishlin is reputable and i know more then one person who's gotten their engine from them.

CA's have a iron block, 8k redline, and a complicated fuel system....

to hell with it all just get a Nsport kit or Fmax kit for the price your saying and buying a clip, you'll have more power for samn sure!

if you have some intiative and smarts, you can piece together your own custom turbo kit for a lot less then the Nsport/Fmax ones.

I think $1500 for a sr installed is pretty steep. You say you want to go different, then why not go rb because you can get a rb25 for the price of sr or cheeper. Just a thought.

HEY all, i was so close from buying from jspecautosports.com, but people said no its not worth it for a ca18det without intercooler MAF sense and ignitor chip

they keep telling me that i can find it for like 800

WHERE THE HELL CAN I FIND FOR 800, I THINK I ASKED VENUS AUTO THEY SAID LIKE 1550

why such a price diffrence, and where are the 800 $ ones!
