Removing headlights or getting access inside?

The car is a 1997 Eagle Talon Esi. I am trying to get to the interior of the headlights. I am not sure how to either take the front case? off or do I need to remove the whole unit? I am trying to get inside to clean them and get to the area where that small disco ball type reflector is in front of the bulb. When I open the hood I tried to remove some clips and a bolt but I noticed this type of glue that seems to be holding the front of the case together? Is this the stuff I need to remove, I assume its for water protection. If I can remove it, what is the easiest way to do it and what should I use, and what should I do or buy to be able to get it back together? Thanks a lot, I did a search, couldn't find anything, I assume its easy to do, but I don't want to mess up the car.

Hey you need to put the casings into the oven and bake them. This will make the glue sticky and you can peel them apart. Then clean them spray them black for custom look headlights and then heat them up again to reglue them back together.
