Dim Right Headlight?

Hi!
I have a 2000 Sunfire and my right headlight is always at about 30% of brightness. I've tried replacing the headlight bulbs and it didn't help. Also got some fix where I was to cut/reconnect some wire on a controller under the dash (to disable some sort of automatic dimming feature?) and the fix did its job but did not fix this particular problem.
Any ideas?
Please don't judge me by my next post, btw. I know a sunfire is just a sunfire, ok ;)

Sounds like you have a high resistance in the circuit to your right headlamp that is cutting down the voltage or amperage.
I would check to see if you are getting 12 volts to the lowbeam at the connector.
Also check your grounds.
