electrical system shorting out

1995 Continental; 80,000 miles; runs great, everything works; well maintained by dealer. Big problem, though. Every so often (a couple of times a month) the car will die. The dash lights flash and flicker, then blackness. The whole car just winks out. We've had the ignition switch chamber replaced and a door ajar sensor replaced. The dealer's shop manager even drove it around for a week (400 miles!) without experiencing any problem. Its a short somewhere, maybe the computer or the radio? I dunno.

Any suggestions?

Hi, I seem to have a similar problem with my Continental'95. Did you find any solution to it? a way to successfully diagnose it? any other sugestions or hints? Thanks!
