Ok, I'm building an AMT 1955 Chevy Stepside. It comes molded in this kind of cool purple. I want to change that. I can't buy any paints till I go down to Denver in a week, but I do have yellow, black and white. I know its not much. What do you guys think would be a cool color of it?

I know. I'm not trying to hurry it. I just want to know what a good color would be, so when I go down, I can buy it, or if I have a little bit of it left, I'll just use that.

I always thought the old chevys looked good in a nice metallic red or blue. Either way, I think it'd look awesome. I'd just spray on some white primer then go with the metallic red or blue from tamiya and put a couple coats of clear to get a good amount of depth from it. Good luck, man!

Ok, Thats sounds nice. Metallic blue would be really cool. I don't have any, so when I go down, hopefully they have some. Blue does look good on the old Chevy's. Here where I live, there are so many old people that most of the people here have all these like old rare cars and stuff. Thanks man.

EMAXX, do you have links to some of your other projects? I think the yellow would look nice. :smokin:

Sorry, no pics as of this time. I have a really crappy webcam right now. My parents own an electronic store and they won't even buy a digi cam. I'll try and get some good pics later when its light out.
