the lowly Corolla vs the mighty Lamborghini!

So I head out to the mall to buy a few things for my girlfriend's birthday. On the way I pass by my school and a white Lamborghini Countach pulled out after picking someone up. So he takes off like a bat out of hell and I struggle to catch it. Eventually I get up beside him and look over and gawk. Apparently one of my friend's dad has a Lamborghini.. seeing as he was in the passenger seat waving at me. His dad downshifted and took off and pulled infront of me cause there was a car in his lane. So I gave chase and we flew down this 2 lane highway ending at about 130km/h when we slowed for a turn. At the bottom of this hill and the end of the turn is a stop light. So we line up at the stop light and when it goes green we both take off. We were quickly gaining speed as the next light turns red. He pulled in behind me because there was a car in his lane. Again, we both take off and take an exit onto another 2 lane road. I took it slow cause there was a car infront of me. He downshifts and flys by me with his V-12 roaring. It truely is a great pleasure to see such a fine machine going all out. We get to another stop light and the another race takes place. We only go up to about 90 km/h because traffic was up ahead. Although we never had a full blown race cause we had to slow for traffic, it was still a hell of a lot of fun. Now I know someone is going to get on my case for speeding on pubic roads and street racing when there is a bit of traffic; but i'm not that stupid. I know when it gets too dangerous, unlike many drivers who fly through traffic still racing. Anyways, flame all you want, I just wanted to share an amazing experience with you.

He must not have been "going all out" or you woulda lost sight of him about 3.5 seconds later....

And it isnt really a race unless you got competition....

I didn't get the impression he said he beat the guy. He was just pointing out what a great time it was to see that fine machine get up and go. I'm sure the guy in it wasn't pushing it for all its worth. I know I don't push my cars for all their worth against something thats easy to take out (don't have to win by a mile in other words).

Hope you get a chance to take a ride in that bad boy someday.

awesome run bro

I ran with a farrari once on the 101, on the open road he smoked me like a cuban, but we were going through the curves through hollywood at 120 and I hung with him much to his suprise. I came alongside and DMC12 *my passenger* gave a thumbs up and he got all excited and honked alot and blew past hard..

MASS BADASS

so yah, I believe you

don't forget he's talking in km/h, not mph...

90kph is under 60, and 120 is just over 65...

Of course I wouldn't have hung with him, what he was mostly doing was accelerating very quickly then letting off a bit so I could catch up, then he would repeat. Not sure why some of you decided I was claiming to beat him, no where did I say I did. We were just having some fun.
