1971 amc sst

I recentley purchased a 1971 javelin sst, but the owner not know the vin#. The dash has been changed and I was wondering if thier was any other place where I could find the vin#. Thier are several numbers on the drivers door but none of them are the vin # because they do not start with the letter A.

hey try looking on the frame rails in front of the firewall.
