Need Some Pointers please

Hi, i'm looking into purchasing a 1996 Bonneville SSEi with 70000k for $5000. Wich i think its a preaty good deal (what u guys think).
Now the problem is that to get it i have to drive for 330miles, wich is ok and i'm willing to do that, because i've been searching on the net for this kinda car and this is the best deal ive seen.
Could u guys tell me what to look for when i get there? like what should i look for that is gona tell me that the car is fine and nothing is wrong with it. I'm not a mechanic so i dont know that much about cars, but if u guys could gime some pointers in regards to this i would appreciate it alot.

i got my 94 bonneville which is basicaly the exact same thing which had 90,000 miles for 500 bucks =) perfect conditions except the paint is starting to chip on the hood and side alittle bit.. needs some repaiting soon.

If you got the car take it to a place that does inspections and ask them to inspect your car.. they'll tell u everything u really need to know
