buying a MITSUBISHI??????

HEY iv heard some bad stuff about the mitsu's like reliability wise......are they a trust worthy company....meaning do they give problems and how does it match up with the TOYOTA CELICA......someone please help buying new car this week!!!!
Iknow that toyota is awesome but i love the eclipse's new look so which one should i go with?????????????????????????????????

I'm on my second Mitsubishi [the first one was written off when someone drove into it !] and I dont think I'll ever buy anything else.

Well I've put 160k miles on a '96 Eclipse, with no major repairs at all. The motor, tranny, everything else are in perfect condition after all these years. Of course a few car owners will have bad luck, but that holds true with any brand.

BTW, you like the look of the new Eclipse??? Get a 2G man! You can have turbo, AWD, and in my opinion much better styling. The 3G's are slow and "geomechanical".
