94 Cav. engine stalling

My 94 cav. has a problem. Most of the time it happens when I am coming up the pff ramp from the interstate. If I apply my brakes nice and evenly and slow down at a steady rate, then it is fine, but if I let the car coast and apply my brakes mainly at the top of the ramp, then it will die. It will start right back up afer a 30 to 45 sec. interval. It also seems to run rough (missing) when I first start it up in the mornings. If I give it a little gas, I can feel the miss become less and less, and after about 5 or so sec. it stops missing and runs just fine (except for the above problem) Any ideas?

Take it to Autozone and have them run if for codes. It's free and just takes a couple of minutes. You may need your fuel injectors cleaned or something. Maybe you're fuel filter needs replaced. There's any number of things that could cause it, but instead of randomly replacing things, get the codes from your car's computer and fix it from there. HTH
