Converting corner lights to turn signals

anyone know a write up or know how to make the corner lights on a 1998 240sx (s14) become turn signals? I just bought my R33 style front bumper and it doesnt have turn signals..and i want my corner lenses to become my signals..any idea how? much appreciated

never tried it. only thing I can think of is the obvious. splice the wires from your turn signals and send them to your corner light wires. the relay for the turn signal should cause the corner lights to blink as if they were turn signals.

Imma try it.Especially since drivers here seem like they are blind and cant see the ones on the front:headshake

hmm..ok ill try that..i wonder if anyone has done this..i know its possible because if you go on clearcorners.com they have the lense that has hyper white LEDs and amber lights blink in the same position when the turn signal is activated.

the clear corners.com i guess has 4 wires (negative and positive for BOTH turn signal and parkking light), im not sure about that, it all depends on if the signals dim or whayteverrr

but if you are talking about the way you are gonna do it, (like most people and myself have done it), is that you wire your side markers to your turn signals, but then your markers wont stay on i think, or im not sure, they might dim like the turn signal.....hmm imma try it tomorrow

lol the first day i got my canadian runing lights, i became "intoxicated" and i started working on my car with my friends, and i wired my running lights to my side markers it was funny but it looks cool to have dual sets of lights flashign for the turn signal

but i still dont rmemeber if it dimmed or not cuz i disconnected it before i was sober

but anyway try it!, if u dont like, disconnect and put back!!

but wait a second, if the turn signal has 2 wires, then it DOES dim!

just get in there and switch around the wires...
