thumping sound

k on my dads and my friends dads camaro, both are like the 90 style kind right before these new shapes. ones a rs adn the other is a z28, but both have this thumping sound when the punch the gas, teh z28 has 2 thumps and my dad auto rs has only 1 thump. they says it sounds like its coming from around the tranny somewhere, midbody

what is it ? how do you fix it ?

Be more specific if you want a good answer. What kind of thumping is it, very loud? really by the info you gave it could be anything. :screwy:

its a loud thump, its not like u barely notice it, its pretty loud. its not coming from the engine, it sounds like its coming from the tranny back

Its the tranny mount bushing.
