2002 SI exhaust

i just purchased an 02 civic si... so far it is stock aside from an AEM intake. i am now looking at puttin an exhaust on it, aiming namely for noise but also for performance.
this leads to my question: should i go dual or single? i've pondered going with the DC Sports Dual Canister, but am just not sure if performance would be better or worse than a single tip. i personally enjoy a throatier, less lawn-mower-like sound than that exhaust delivers, but am willing to suffer if it will increase performance.
next question: now that we've established which route to go, which exhaust brand should i look at? i'd really like to go bolt on so i could do it quickly and easily.
