Damn Police, Caught me...

Well today Im waiting for my painter to get home and he does I head over to his place and discuss the details on getting my car painted so I can sell it to buy a NEW Trans Am, Well my 88 Camaro is sitting in primer right now so I dont drive it. So I dont have insurance on it.... The rest of the story tells all its own. I was leaving his place got into town, Its night, well I cant see where he was or anything so im going about 5 or 10 over the 35MPH limit and such well I see someone following me and flashes the brights in my rear mirror, sure enough the red and blue start up and I pull over. He gets out, The typical license,registration, and insurance, I hesitate, I get the license out and the registration and explain why I dont have insurance and hes like well lemme take what you got and ill be back in a min, Time passes and he comes back. You know that the state of Iowa requires that you have insurance the penalty for not having it is 300.00 fine, and of course speeding too.
He was a nice guy and hes like Ill give you a break today, since its your first time getting pulled over and all ill let you go today with just a warning. Talk about having a close one. :grinyes: :grinyes: :grinyes:

You were lucky. I'm going to be getting a new SS, and I've already purchased a Passport 8500, maybe that will save me from SOME tickets :naughty:
