Ok, i just got my license and im puttin a system in my car but right now all im tryin to do is get a sub and an amp to power it. I already bought my sub which is a Bazooka TVB141. Right now im lookin for my amp, and ive been lookin at a few different ones, a rockford fosgate 400s(is that enough power? pushin 400 watts bridged, my sub peaks at 450?) and a boss ripper 595, which im kinda curious about because ive heard good and bad things about them and i can get it cheap(like only 100$). Those are the two main amps im lookin at, i wanna stay inbetween 100-150 maybe more if its worth it...n e suggestions?
Also, i was wonderin about the wiring and how important the quality is and what gauge i would need?
Oh, and i was plannin on gettin it installed at circuit city, but ive heard that they might not do much of a good job, n e input or past experiences?
-Thnx for the input-

you can buy my boss amp from me... for 100 if you want it. Boss rates at Max remeber, so it won't show it's true power, but it's max

that sub takes 200rms and has a resistance of 4ohm, so you need to find an amp that puts out 200x1 @ 4ohm. That fosgate 400s will put way too much power to it

if it runs at 200 rms does that mean that it cant handle n e more than a 200 rms amp?

kinda...it can handle a little more, but I wouldn't push it too far. It can probably take 250-300rms, but definately no higher than that or you'll risk destroying the sub.

Any suggestions on what amp i should get? Top brands for around my 100-150 price range?
