1986 trooper wont start

I have a 1986 trooper. 2.3l 4 cylinder. that will not start. i took the starter in and got it checked and they said that it was burned up. so i replaced it. but still it wont start. ive checked to make sure that it is getting power. but still nothing. any help or ideas would be very much appreciated.

check your pick-up/module in the distributer. Same thing happened to me and I had to change pick-up/module.
