pretty self explanitory so i won't blab about each pic. the pics with the deloreans is just showing how we have so much crap going on, it'll be a cold day in hell when i can wash my car on the patio. the last pic is during a car wash (one of my favorite past times) i took more but they weren't on the disk eric's dad gave me so who knows if they didn't turn out or something. at least i finally got to show you guys the front of my car. hopefully i'll get some more up soon. all the door sills and door panels were painted black too and i was able to take the parking brake handle cover off of the integra too. so that's black now. all i've got left is the dash and the seatbelts. woo hoo! glad i got that carpet out....didn't realize how dirty it was till i saw that pic. oh and my car is the electron blue pearl. when i uploaded them, it looks purple. eh...whatever.
can't wait to get that engine in!!!
enjoy!!

It's a B18A1. I couldn't tell if it was a ZC or not but in the one pic I can see "A1" on the engine code plate so I know it can't be a ZC.

Car is looking good. I'm glad you decided to go with black instead of yellow or something gross like that.

And why so many Deloreans? Does your parents like them a lot?

yes it's a b18a out of a 90 integra gs with 80K miles. here's a link to the thread with info about the pull
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t130703.html

also a link to the info about the carpet conversion btw has anyone else done this?

thanks fourthgen, you made me laugh. i haven't lived with my mom since i was 17. that's eric and my place. the first delorean is our baby. we've got her 3 1/2 years ago and the second is one we are working on for a club member. we service and customize the majority of chicagoland's deloreans. there is always at least three at our house. one of our good friend stores one of his here at all times and it's usually his project convertible delorean. that gets a lot of double looks.

maybe i shouldn't have put in the pics with the delorean. damn car is always overshadowing my car!!

thanks for all the nice comments. i originally was gonna go with hot pink instead of black. glad i didn't

Well I just figured most 4G owners are pretty young since the cars are dirt cheap, and Deloreans are semi-rare so they might cost a lot.

you know how you can tell if its a ZC? look at the timing belt cover area.....the ZC has a big plastic lookin thingy and the b18a has the metal cover

i got my 4G when i was 17 and i am now 23 with no plans on selling her.the delorean was a joint effort between two punk young adults sacrificing a lot so we could scrape by. 3 years later, our heads are a little higher above water. but not much.

there may not be some in sacramento but there are over 70 delorean owners in Cali. i looked it up in the owner's directory and that is one of the states with the highest amount of owners. illinois has 35.

anyone else change their third brake light on their civic? i picked that one becuase of the obvious difference in looks. lower, sleeker, LEDs. one of the first things i hooked up on my own in my car. wow, 2 wires....

anyone have any experience with fabric dye? i've heard about it but not from anyone that has used it. i would like to dye the seat belts straps black in the near future.

You should have left the carpet out, and stripped the interior, race style! That Delorean looks like it could use a good wash. You should buy my D, it's a show winner, I'll give ya a deal.

yes it's the same as the 99-00 color. when we redo it i will stick with blue but go with a different shade.

that's not our delorean. ours is the one in front of it and ours will never look like that. before that owner met us he had been storing his at a body shop so the whole car is covered with overspray. horrible.

thanks for the offer but we will never own a painted delorean. something about the stainless......

Hmm.. Carpet pulling looks interesting. Perhaps an explanation on how you go about doing that? I've been doing interior mods lately, and Im thinking about changing out my stock light blue carpeting.

HMmmm I'm about to change my carpet too. My 91 hatch smelled like crap for a while and I took the carpet out and I kept scrubing it down. Now it smells like grease and feint hint of pine sol. :D The grease is from lubbing up the e brake and the doors and other things that needed lubbing petals ETC. Now once lub smells go away I can get that carpet in. Any suggestion guy in getting premolded ones or just going down to the upholstery shop? What type of material is best or is carpet just carpet???
