Velox novas

I'm thinking about getting some 17" velox nova rims in gunmetal. I'm looking at around 750 for the set. Still need some tires, not sure what to get yet. Anyway, anyone have any input. How much can I expect to pay for rims and tires? Will I need to lower my car? Any rubbing?

Expect to spend about another $450-600 on tires. I suggest Toyo Proxes. Look good, tread is good, and not too expensive. You could also go with Nitto's. So your grand total would be around $1250-1400, depending on what kind of tires you get. It would look very nice if you lowered your car about 2 inches. Shouldn't rub.

I would go w/ the Toyo Proxes too!


I orginally had Nitto 555's and blew 3 tires in 4 months. I switched to the Toyo's over a year & a half ago and havent had any problems yet.

The tread wear...er, should I say NON-wear is great!
