BTW: everything was air brushed, nothing was added on from another picture.

hey, if u would of read my first post, you would of seen that i said its not a chop, its a change, it doesnt have to be with a kit of anything.

Good work "changing" the car, but it looks extremely ugly. Like some sort of cheap neon. I agree with Import_Tuner it's a chop. I don't know why you say it isn't, or why you care. Making a car look better is a chop.

or in this case (and all cases of chops by ran) making it look worse

Nice smooth work with the airbrush and Clone Stamp, but I must say... it really reminds me of an early model Neon from the rear. Also, the vent looks good but because it's so close to the wheel well, it doesn't look convincing.

I like everything but the trunk and that little scoop by the back of the front fender.

VERY CLEAN "changes" and nice work dude.

The vent directly behind the front wheel opening should be moved back slightly, and the side skirts are blocking the rear door.

Looks clean though :)

Ran, as a matter of fact, i DID read the bit about you saying its not a chop before I posted, but like i said it seriously doesn't look re-designed.

No offense Ran, but could you please tell me the difference between a "chop" and a "change" because I don't see any difference. Chopping a car is changing it and changing a car with Photoshop is a chop. Also I don't see why you have such a problem with it being called a "chop". You did do some nice work airbrushing though.

yeah im definetly seeing thye whole neon thing now and yes im with evryone else it's a chop if you like to call it a change umm.....thats fine but im goin with chop but, that aside it's pretty nice i don't think it looks bad infact i think the attention to detail is great. :)

I think you should do it over and this time, instead of no exhaust cutout, make it dual cutout, drop it a bit, put the mirror back on please(*looks fugly wihtout it) and about the side skirts, let the rear door open and get rid of the lines, and lose the lexus badge as well but put the inner tail light back in and it will lose the neon effect, shave the door handles and move that vent on the fender back a bit, the metal in front of it would be so flimsy if it was that thin in reality, and probably look much batter as well, and put some tint on the windows or make the seats just plain black or at least matching. you should also shave the rear bumper lights as well.

thats how many many many people like their car. personally my next car is gonna be without badges, without door handles, without moldings, without anteanna. I do plan on rims and a mild kit, but graphics, huge ass wings, huge chrome wheels, etc. isnt everybodys style.

I agree with what badass said, Ran, and to be honest that's part of the reason I avoid you. You ask people for their feedback, and when we say it's FUCKING UGLY, or that you missed an angle, which you do a lot, or that something's not right, you get your purple panties in a twist. Put up and shut up. If a majority think a chop is ugly, deal with it, move on. If someone points out something wrong, learn from it, fix it, move on. If we flame you for being a little.. punk... swallow it, move on. See a trend? MOVE ON

just my idea, im not saying everyone is bad but when i started chopping, everyone was nice, and even if the chop wasnt the best they helped me out and gave me good tips, now its just not like that, and if u want to say this chop sucks, and u want me to swallow it, u will have to just not post that in my threads.

If you don't want a war then get off your high horse. You make mistakes in your chops, and people don't always agree with your ideas. You say thanks to the people who compliment you and say shut up to the people who criticize you. If you can't take criticism, quit posting chops. It's like I've said before. If I see something I don't like, I'm gonna tell you. If I see a mistake, I'm gonna tell you. If I don't like your attitude, you're gettin called on that, too. I'm not a bitch or anything.. I just tell it like it is. If you did a good chop, I would say nice job. But considering that your "awesome" chops leave.. well.. a lot to be desired, I tell you.

And by the way the moving line in your sig... it doesn't match the angle of your lettering. You may be a virtual designer, but I'm a graphic designer.

well i just read this whole thing and here are the things i noticed and am commenting on.

1. Ran - you gotta expect some people not to like what you did to the car, even if you think it rocks, other people will not.

2. The IS300 you posted is a chop. as soon as you "change" something you chopped the picture.

3. The sideskirt is not aligned right in the rear, and the front scoop def needs to be moved further back.

if you cant handle other peoples comments other than positive, you will have these wars in each of your threads.

well. i never post things that will make people mad when reading it, i mean i would of never told someone: your chop looks ugly, why even waist time doing does chops if no-one likes them.

it would be great if AF member (at least our part of AF) would respect each other, and even if we arent all friends, we can still be good people and make this forum friendly and happy for all the members.

With my personal own opinion, result of personal feelings and tastes and never been influenced by any third parties, I declare that, for my part, following my proper personal judgement, I do not appreciate the picture posted at the beginning of this thread. I indeed regret the smoothing of the back end which for me, tend to erase the character of car and make it a bit less interesting in its design. I also find that the front vent seem to be a bit unreal as it stands quite near from the front arches.
This opinion, which is entirely based on my own scale of values, does not mean that this picture is unappreciable by all, but only reflect the personal reaction of my inner-self at the sight of this picture. And if I say your chop sucks, I'm gonna say why. Like your lexus. It sucks to me cause it looks like a neon, which is nowhere NEAR a lexus in class, and because I love IS300s the way they are. If I criticize someone, I give a reason and if they're a nice person, I give them tips on how to fix the problem.
