I am in Southern CA. I thought about a 350 but im not sure about any problems I might have with my bolt on stuff and other things.

find a rebuilt 327 and drop it in. thats what im putting in my 82 trans am. When i go tthe car it had a 305 crossfire motor. I paid $650 for my motor in a 71 impala and pulle the motor and tranny and tires and rims and sold the rest for the car for $200. So i got my motor for $450 in at the end.

305 Is a nice little motor, It can be modified easy as long as its a TBI. I love 305's just cuz people think they are crap. Well, when I am done with mine I will be making about 325hp, and some mad torque. 305 has some good torque.
