Me and my friend were just wondering how do you make a resin mold of your part that you want to duplicate? What would we need? Is it cheap to make resin parts?

Resin casting isn't cheap, but the process is not difficult to learn.
You can start from zero with a starter kit like this.
http://www.ares-server.com/Ares/Ares.asp?MerchantID=RET01229&Action=Catalog&Type=Product&ID=82698
I'm gonna order it, and write a basic tutorial soon.

$70.... well, I'll await your tutorial and try to save up some money to purchase the kit.

I'd be interested in that kit myself. imagine all the RB26 skyline engine's you could ever want, not to mention I need things for my models that you cannot buy, you have to scratchbuild and after you make one you can duplicate it as many times as you want.. don't forget to let us know how that go's for you hiro!

It is trying to load Gator which is one of the worst programs on the net for placing crap on to your computer and tracking your movements on the web. It sends more crap on to your system making the problem even worse. Damn spyware is what it is.

Right!
If you want to try your hand at resin casting the best thing to do is order a starter kit from smooth on. It includes the rubber and resin along with directions on how to use it. The price for the starter kit is very reasonable and the quality is excellent. Good luck!

BTW the problem is with your geocities free website. It is ad sponsored and they place whatever crap on it they are paid to place there. It also changes from one minute to the next. You might want to look into some of the really inexpensive plans that do not place ads on your website. It does not look like you need a lot of server space or bandwidth so it may be less than you expect. Mine costs $79.00 a month and transfers over 130 Meg a day. At that I only use about 10% of my bandwidth so you can probably find something for a LOT LESS!

Sorry to go off topic, but i dont think MR-2Racer will mind, he is one of my good friends. But were only 14 and we dont even work yet, this shop is just our free time work. So i dont think it is worth it, but maybe later on when i have more skills, me and MR-2Racer will buy the Resin Starter kit and start making Resin molds of our own custom things, such as resin copies of our own kits, intercoolers, turbo's, tachs... and alot more.. But that is not going to be for a while...

Whether or not you get the message about the site attempting to download software to your PC depends on your security settings and whether you use a firewall or not.
I did get the download message from your site and since then haven't visited your site.
