where is the starter located?

I'm a newbie with a Grand Am '91 LE. Can somebody please tell me where to locate the starter and the replacement procedure? The Haynes manual doesn't give me a detailed procedure with regards to this information.

If this is a 2.3 or 2.4 quad motor, the starter is located under the intake manifold on the front side of the engine.
Not an easy job...even for a GM Tech :banghead:

you are right that was a $150 replacement job.
