AutoLock, Good or Bad?

Thinking of buying an AutoLock (the lock for your clutch or brake) for my sixspeed Accord. Anyone heard of anything bad about the autolocks? I haven't heard of a car getting stolen with it on, so respond if you have any info. THanx.

i havent heard anything bad about them at all. My cousin had his car stolen numerous times with the "club" on his car and as soon as he switched to the Autolock, no more stolen car. :)

i have seen picture of stolen and stripped truck, truck was stripped to bare frame and autolock was laying on floor. they just turned it sideway and off they go.

Auto lock will only slow somebody down. If they want your car bad enough, they gonna get it. I dont care if your car is welded to the ground, they still will get it.

IMO the best anti-theft device you could install is a simple hidden kill switch on the ignition. Car will crank all day long until the battery is dead, but wont ever fire.
