I can give you a very quick overview.

The L.E.D. bulb or any of the "grain of rice/wheat/sand" bulbs have two wires coming out of it. One wire must be conected directly to your battery post and the other wire connected to the on off switch. The other side of the on off switch must be connected to the other side of the batery post. The off/on switch will than activate your bulb. connect as many bulbs as you want to the same schematic.

Hope that helps.

You also have to use a resistor if your LED requires it.

It fairly simple. Once you look at the parts and stuff, you'll get it really easily.

Well what exactly do i need besides a switch and LED's, because i already hav those?

A capacitor depending on your LED's...or it wont work.

The longer lead (wire) from the LED is (+), short one is (-). You have to connect in the right way.

You mean a resistor right ? Any kind of battery will provide excess power to that LED.

I wouldn't mind doing an LED circuit for my car model myself.
But what battery do you use?? The normal batteries are TOO big to fit in a 1:24 scale car, not even the boot space or under-hood space.
Anyone know what batteries to use?

You "could" use a watch battery and run a magnetic switch inside the car so that when you waive the magnet over the triger space the light turn on, but it is VERY complicated wiring.

THe easiest thing to do is to run the cables under the car via a small whole in the chasis plate and mount the model on a base and run the wires into the base and put the batery post and switch into the base plate.

Check out my thread on the results of placing the batery into the base. (do a search i the "completed" thread)

U can use 2 AA batteries.

You don't have to use 2. I have 1 AAA battery powering almost 20 light bulbs and its fine. These bulbs use VERY LITTLE power.. almost none.
