3.1 V6-Old Mopar Guy Wanting To Pick Your Brains

Married into a 92 Cutlass S w/3.1 V6. Like the car, style, ride, but really lacking in power. Is this the same 3.1 used by Chevy? If so, seems that GM has a lot of hop up parts. Either way, I would appreciate any help with links or? to point me to learning all I can about this engine and the possibility of mods. Thanks for any input.

There must be something about old Mopar guys and w-body cars :naughty: Myself and my dad were both Mopar only guys....until I bought my cousin's 90 GP LE. We've been working on W-body cars ever since :icon16:
