Which type optima battery would you suggest adding to a system. The best battery please, this is an add-on for car audio, and I want the most power I can get for the battery, without blowing my stuff up.

Like the audiobahn stuff too. Anyway, why not go with a voltage regulator. You can even step up the voltage to a constant 14-16v. It's a great way to cheat more out of the system. :evillol:

One main battery to start and run the car basically, the other as a deep cycle in the trunk to run the system. I imagine he will ground both batteries to the chassis and run a 1/0 ga wire between the + on the 2 to connect them in parallel. There are many people who have a setup like this, one advantage is that if you like to run your system with the car off you can do it for much longer without worrying about being able to start the car afterwards. It can also be used sort of like a capacitor, and wiring is much easier because your power wire only has to be 3' long or so.
